I am excited to announce that I will be directing Calendar Girls, by Tim Firth, for the main stage at Winchester Little Theatre in May 2026!
Set in Yorkshire, England, Calendar Girls is the story of best friends Chris and Annie trying to raise money for the cancer wing of the local hospital. But they can’t get excited about another Women’s Institute calendar of bucolic country scenes, until Chris hits upon the idea of featuring the ladies doing typical Women’s Institute endeavors – gardening, canning, baking, knitting – while nude. The calendar is wildly successful, but their friendship is put to the test as news of their venture spreads beyond their little town.
Calendar Girls opens Friday, May 15, 2026, and runs through Saturday, May 30, 2026. More information at Winchester Little Theatre.
